Key specs explained for Coway
CADR: Dust 445, Smoke 439, Pollen 450
Clean Air Delivery Rate measures how fast the unit removes specific particles from the air. Higher numbers mean faster cleaning. These scores indicate strong performance for large spaces. You benefit from rapid removal of dust, smoke, and pollen. Compare these values with other units to ensure the purifier matches your room size and pollutant needs.
Covers up to 3,285 ft² in 60 mins
This coverage area tells you the maximum square footage the device can clean in one hour. It suits large open living areas or whole-home use. If your space exceeds this limit, the unit may not refresh the air quickly enough. Check your room dimensions before buying to ensure this capacity meets your ventilation requirements.
21.6 db noise level
This decibel rating indicates how quiet the machine operates at its lowest setting. A score of 21.6 is very quiet, comparable to a whisper. You can run it in bedrooms or offices without disruption. Compare this to other models to find one that maintains low noise while still providing adequate air circulation for your specific environment.
HEPA Filter
High-Efficiency Particulate Air filters capture 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. This includes pet dander, pollen, and dust mites. You benefit from cleaner air if you suffer from allergies or asthma. Look for this certification when shopping to ensure the purifier effectively traps microscopic pollutants rather than just large debris.

The Auto mode relies on the real-time air quality indicator. This sensor monitors your environment continuously. It adjusts the airflow automatically based on detected pollutants. This feature simplifies daily operation by removing the need for manual adjustments.
The Eco mode offers a practical option for energy-conscious users. It maintains the lowest airflow and noise level until the air quality drops. The unit then increases power to restore clean air. This cycle helps conserve energy without sacrificing performance. The Sleep mode likely prioritizes quiet operation, supporting the listed 21.6 dB noise level. This makes it suitable for bedrooms or quiet offices.
You can tailor the filtration using the 3-in-1 filter system. You select Fresh Starterplus for VOCs and odors, Allergenplus for pollen and pet dander, or Intense Smokeplus for wildfire smoke.
