This model includes a dedicated aroma box on top for essential oils. You can press, add, and enjoy a fragrance experience alongside air purification. The listing warns against adding oils directly to the unit to prevent damage. This feature adds scent customization to your air quality routine, distinguishing it from basic purifiers.

Setup and everyday use guide
The Cegsin AP005C requires minimal effort to start using. You place the unit in your chosen space, such as a bedroom or desk area. The 360-degree air inlet ensures you can position it freely without worrying about airflow blockage. To operate the device, you simply press the power button. The interface is straightforward, allowing you to adjust fan speeds for rapid air circulation. You can select from three speed settings to match your room’s size, which the listing states can handle up to 1100 square feet. For nighttime use, you can switch to Sleep Mode. This setting lowers the decibel level and turns off the display lights, ensuring the unit does not disturb your rest. You can also set a timer for up to 12 hours, which automatically shuts the purifier off after your desired duration. The device includes a safety lock feature to prevent accidental changes to the settings. If you wish to add a scent, you can place essential oils in the dedicated aroma box on top. This feature allows you to diffuse fragrances without damaging the internal components. The unit is available in white or black, so you can choose a color that matches your decor. Daily maintenance involves checking the filter status. The manufacturer recommends replacing the 3-in-1 HEPA filter every three to six months to maintain optimal efficiency. This simple routine keeps the air quality consistently high. The timer and safety lock provide convenience for households with children or pets, ensuring the device runs only when needed and remains secure from unintended adjustments.
Before You Buy This Unit
You will need to purchase replacement filters separately. The listing recommends changing the 3-in-1 HEPA filter every three to six months for optimal efficiency. Using genuine filters from the brand store ensures the unit maintains its stated 99.97% capture rate for particles as small as 0.3 microns. You should also check if your room exceeds 250 square feet. While the unit covers spaces up to 1100 square feet, air changes per hour drop significantly in larger areas. In a 250 square foot room, it refreshes the air five times per hour. If you plan to use essential oils, ensure you use the included aroma box to avoid damage. This compact model fits well alongside larger units in our 2026 guide if you prioritize desk space over whole-house coverage. It lacks a remote control, so you must operate it manually.
